This piece was created using alcohol inks and white pen on an aluminium art board. The painting has been covered by a shiny layer of resin and has d-hooks and wire attached to the back for easy hanging. The side has been painted with a gold varnish.

About the Collection: A MOUNTAINS LOVE STORY

Inspired by the Mountains, this collection is in itself a love story. This collection tells the story of my connection and deep appreciation of the Mountains I live in. However, this collection is also a tribute to my own love story – the story that led me all the way from Denmark to Australia. This is the story that eventually led me to become an artist.

ABOUT THE PAINTING:

When the fires destroyed big parts of the Blue Mountains in 2019 and then the floods in 2020, it was hard to believe that the bush could ever regenerate. While big parts of the mountains is still devastated by the fires, a beautiful thing happened this year. Lots of pink flannel flowers started to bloom. This type of flannel flower is very rare and only grows after a big fire followed by floods.
